What can I say about Dachshunds? They are (In my opinion) one of the best breeds there is! They're affectionate, loyal, great with kids when raised with them. They can be very vocal but when they're with you they're quiet unless a stranger knocks on the door. You need to be cautious of environmental impacts that could effect their spine, so being aware not to let them jump off beds and furniture to prevent a back injury. Just like you or I could have a fall and land the wrong way, so can they also. They're the cutest breed, they simply melt your heart.
